Applied Biosystems Satellite Symposium 'From the Human Genome Towards Personalised Medicine'

Tuesday, 8 August 2006 17:00 -18:30

Great Hall

For 25 years Applied Biosystems has been providing tools and technologies to enable
research and discovery in the fields of human disease research and medicine. With the completion of the sequencing of human genome the era of personalised medicine is approaching. Applied Biosystems continues to provide technologies and high value genomic information that facilitates the continuing evolution of our understanding of the human condition.

This symposium will illustrate how these tools have been used and will continue to be used for the discovery of novel markers, which will lead to better and more specific understanding of diseases and diagnostic tests in the molecular era.
